How do I register for the Canadian Poker Tour & Great Blue Heron Poker Challenge Tournaments?
Players may register in person at the Great Blue Heron Charity Casino at the Rapid Rewards Players Club Centre upon presentation of valid government issued photo identification (Ontario Health Card is not an allowable form of identification for this purpose). Players may also register by telephone by calling 1-888-29HERON ext. #327 and may register with a valid Visa or MasterCard.

How do I register for the Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday “Sit ‘n Go” Mini Tournaments?
Registration for the “Sit ‘n Go” Mini-Tournaments is done directly at the Poker Pit Podium at the Great Blue Heron Charity Casino the day of the Tournament. Registration will open at 10:00am on the morning of the tournament. Tournaments will start at noon.

How does the standby list work for GBH Tournaments?
The GBH no longer offers a standby list. Any remaining seats will be sold on the day of the tournament, on a first come first serve basis.

If I arrive late for the tournament will I lose my seat?
No. Your seat will remain in play with blinds being posted, until all chips have been depleted. If you arrive while chips remain at your seat, you will be required to play with only the remaining chips.

What games are available in the Poker Pit?
The Poker Pit spreads Texas Holdem, Omaha Hi and Omaha/Holdem Mix, all played as limit games.

How many tables in the Poker Pit?
There are 12 tables.

What stakes games are played?
The Poker Pit spreads games from $5-$10 up to and including $100-$200.

How do I contact the Poker Pit?
The Poker Pit toll free line 1.888.294.3766 ext. # 263 for up to the minute information on wait lists, stakes being played and number of games in action. Please note the Poker Pit does not take telephone reservations for Sit-N-Go Tournaments. Phone reservations are available for all other poker games, with a one hour time limit for arrival and check- in.

Does the GBH host Tournaments?
The GBH will host a minimum of 12 Tournaments in 2008 and 2009.
